Ce este un raport
Un raport (report) prezintă informații despre o situație existentă, pentru cineva care trebuie să ia o decizie: un director, o comisie, un profesor. Spre deosebire de eseu, raportul e practic: descrie ce există, evaluează și recomandă. La C1 Advanced poate apărea în Partea 2 a probei de scris (220–260 de cuvinte).
Structura
- Titlu: Report on the use of the college library
- Introducere (Introduction sau Aim): scopul raportului.
- Secțiuni cu subtitluri: câte una pentru fiecare aspect cerut.
- Concluzie și recomandări (Recommendations).
Subtitlurile fac raportul ușor de citit. Poți folosi și liste cu puncte, cu moderație.

Model
Introduction. The aim of this report is to assess how students use the college library and to suggest improvements. The information was gathered through a survey of 120 students.
Current use. It was found that the majority of respondents visit the library at least once a week, mainly to study in a quiet environment. However, only a small number borrow books, as many prefer online resources.
Problems. The main complaint concerns the opening hours. Over half of the students surveyed said the library closes too early, particularly during exam periods. A lack of power sockets was also mentioned.
Recommendations. It is recommended that the library extend its opening hours during exams. In addition, the college should consider installing more sockets and expanding its online collection.

Introducere. Scopul acestui raport este să evalueze cum folosesc studenții biblioteca colegiului și să propună îmbunătățiri. Informațiile au fost adunate printr-un sondaj cu 120 de studenți.
Folosirea actuală. S-a constatat că majoritatea respondenților vin la bibliotecă cel puțin o dată pe săptămână, mai ales ca să învețe într-un loc liniștit. Totuși, doar puțini împrumută cărți, fiindcă mulți preferă resursele online.
Probleme. Principala nemulțumire privește programul. Peste jumătate dintre studenții chestionați au spus că biblioteca se închide prea devreme, mai ales în sesiune. A fost menționată și lipsa prizelor.
Recomandări. Se recomandă ca biblioteca să-și prelungească programul în sesiune. În plus, colegiul ar trebui să ia în calcul montarea mai multor prize și extinderea colecției online.
