De la B2 la C1
La B2 ai folosit whereas, nevertheless, consequently, what's more (B2, Lecția 78). La C1 lărgești paleta, ca să nu repeți mereu however și because, și folosești conectori mai preciși.

On the contrary respinge ce s-a spus. Conversely prezintă situația inversă. Nu le confunda cu on the other hand, care adaugă alt aspect.

Poziție și punctuație
- La începutul propoziției: Furthermore, … / Hence, … (cu virgulă)
- Între două propoziții: …; therefore, … sau … . Therefore, …
- Thereby și hence pot sta și după virgulă, în aceeași propoziție: …, hence the name.
