Același verb, sensuri diferite
În A2 (Lecția 46) ai învățat verbe frazale ca get up sau turn on. La B1 apar verbe de bază care formează multe expresii, cu sensuri foarte diferite. Cele mai frecvente sunt get, take și put.

Se despart sau nu?
Unele verbe frazale se pot despărți: obiectul stă între verb și particulă (put it off). Altele nu se despart (take after, get over, put up with). Dacă obiectul este un pronume, se pune obligatoriu între cele două părți la verbele care se despart (A2, Lecția 46).
Put it off until Friday.
Amână-l până vineri.
He takes after his dad.
Seamănă cu tatăl lui.
