Nu repeți totul
Când repovestești o conversație, nu spui fiecare cuvânt. Alegi ce e important, schimbi timpurile și pronumele (Lecțiile 31–33) și legi propozițiile între ele.
Iată o conversație:
A: "I've got a new job!" B: "Really? When do you start?" A: "On Monday. Come and celebrate with us." B: "I'd love to."
A: „Mi-am găsit o slujbă nouă!” B: „Serios? Când începi?” A: „Luni. Vino să sărbătorim.” B: „Mi-ar face plăcere.”
Și cum o poți repovesti:
She told me she had got a new job. I asked her when she was starting, and she said she was starting on Monday. She invited me to celebrate with them, and I agreed.
Mi-a spus că și-a găsit o slujbă nouă. Am întrebat-o când începe, iar ea a spus că începe luni. M-a invitat să sărbătorim împreună, iar eu am acceptat.

In the end, she admitted that she had made a mistake. Then she suggested meeting for coffee, and I agreed.

Last week I met my friend Daniel at the station. He told me that he had lost his phone the day before. I asked him where he had left it, and he said he thought it was on the bus.
I suggested calling the bus company, but he admitted that he didn't have their number. Then I asked him to use my phone, and he promised to pay me back.
After that, he explained that the driver had found the phone and would keep it at the depot. In the end, Daniel went to collect it, and he seemed very relieved. He thanked me and said he would buy me a coffee the next day.

- Ai mutat timpurile un pas înapoi?
- Ai schimbat expresiile de timp (tomorrow → the next day)?
- Ai variat verbele, sau ai folosit said that la fiecare propoziție?
