| Structura | Exemplu |
|---|---|
| It + is + participiu + that + propoziție | It is said that he is very rich. |
| Subiect + is + participiu + to + verb | He is said to be very rich. |
It is believed that the thief escaped through a window.
Se crede că hoțul a scăpat printr-o fereastră.
The thief is believed to have escaped through a window.
|---|---|---|
| to be / to do | acum, în prezent | He is said to be ill. |
| to be doing | în desfășurare acum | She is believed to be working abroad. |
| to have done | înainte | The painting is thought to have been stolen. |
| to have been doing | în desfășurare, înainte | He is believed to have been living there for years. |
Pentru viitor folosești de obicei is expected to: The bridge is expected to open in May.
