Both, either și neither se folosesc doar când vorbești despre doi oameni sau despre două lucruri: both = amândoi, either = unul sau celălalt, neither = niciunul dintre cei doi. Pentru mai mult de doi folosești all, any și none. La B1 ai învățat So do I și Neither do I (B1, Lecția 23).

După neither of verbul este de obicei la singular în stilul îngrijit: Neither of the answers is correct. În vorbire auzi și plural.
Both my brothers live in London, but neither of them likes the weather.
Ambii frați ai mei locuiesc la Londra, dar niciunuia nu-i place vremea.

Both poate sta și după subiect sau după auxiliar:
They both passed the exam.
Amândoi au luat examenul.
We have both seen the film.
