Când folosești Past Simple
Past Simple arată o acțiune terminată într-un moment din trecut. În română îl traduci de obicei cu perfectul compus („am lucrat”) sau cu imperfectul („lucram”):
I worked in London in 2020.
Am lucrat la Londra în 2020.
We watched a film last night.
Ne-am uitat la un film aseară.
She called me yesterday.
M-a sunat ieri.
Cum se formează
La verbele regulate adaugi -ed. Forma este aceeași pentru toate persoanele:

Reguli de scriere

| Vocală scurtă + o consoană: dublezi | stop → stopped, plan → planned, shop → shopped |
Cum se pronunță -ed
Aceasta este greșeala cea mai frecventă: -ed de obicei nu se citește ca o silabă separată.
